    Home Organizing and Storage Solutions

A cluttered, messy, or uncomfortable home can be unsettling and seep into other areas of our lives. The benefits of having an organized living space include improved physical health, less stress, increased focus and productivity, a welcoming environment, and a sense of accomplishment. Having your home look how you want is amazing and worth the effort. If it seems too daunting to declutter your home, I am here to help! As for storage solutions, the more creative, the less money you spend. You can use items such as baskets, tubs, Tupperware, or totes. You will be surprised how many household items you can use to store your stuff.

    Clutter Control and Management

By removing or controlling our clutter, we can directly reduce the stress that stems from the mess which can help us feel happier, less anxious, and more confident in ourselves. You can conquer the clutter one pile at a time and I can help. However, trimming down the mess and finding peace in our homes can be difficult. Sometimes it requires mental prep work, breaking things into small pieces, and understanding the difference between organizing and decluttering. Organization is finding the space for what you have while decluttering is reducing the quantity of what you have. Disposing of clutter allows you to focus on the things you love and enjoy. Using a non-judgmental approach, I will work with you to find solutions that create a simplified, healthy, and organized state of being.

    Interior Design and Feng Shui

Clutter is one reason that hinders people from reaping the benefits of interior design and how it can make a house feel like more of a home. Interior design can transform spaces, making them visually appealing and functional. Karen Kingston, the author of Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui, states, “ I do not consider clutter clearing to be one process and Feng Shui to be another. I have come to realize that clutter-clearing is one of the most powerful, transformative aspects of Feng Shui there is, and in most cases, Feng Shui cures and enhancements are only at best minimally effective until this has been done.” I find the beauty of interior design and Feng Shui is the low-cost, yet powerful impacts they have. We can work together with what you have to create the space you want.

    Paper Management

Even though many items are “paperless” these days, we still collect paper such as mail, newspapers, recipes, important information such as birth certificates and social security cards and the list goes on. The good news is that you have options. Software such as a Document Management System (DMS) or a filing cabinet can organize your papers. DMS is designed to store, arrange, and monitor electronic documents and scanned images of paper-based data stored on a computer. A basic filing system can help you find documents quickly by sorting them by date, name, or other criteria, and it does not have to be digitized.

    Tiny Space Makeovers

Reinvent your sheds, storage units, garages, and attics into studios, offices, meditation rooms and he/she sheds. I live in a house under 1,000 square feet so when I came up with the idea to turn my shed into an office I was excited to gain this extra space (pictures are on the website). I can help you remove unwanted and unused items, and decorate and create the perfect tiny space. We will work together to create a space by adding items that reflect who you are such as accomplishments, goals, and visions. Let’s take your tiny space and turn it into your personal place!

    Home Staging Assistance

Staging is about showcasing an engaging, move-in ready home that creates an emotional connection with the buyer. Updating décor with on-trend, inviting style—particularly in living rooms, primary bedrooms, kitchens, and dining rooms—can make a memorable impression. Once engaged, buyers will be more committed and possibly willing to increase their offer, and they may be less likely to change their minds at the last minute or ask for concessions. I can help by using what you have and making it better. You will be surprised by how many decorative items you own that can be implemented into the staging process. Combine organization and space planning and you will be on the track to selling your home!

    Space Planning

Space planning is an integral part of organizing. It helps you analyze the current features of your home and how it can be better utilized or reconfigured before you make any significant decisions about moving, removing, or adding furniture. It is focused on creating efficiency and accessibility, which can manifest in many ways. For some people, it might mean that their home is easy to navigate, with plenty of available space in the most high-traffic areas known as circulation routes/patterns. It means avoiding that mounting frustration when you cannot find things or get through a room because of clutter, ill-placed furniture, or crowding. For example, a clutter-free bedroom (perhaps with a lava lamp) will broadly equate to a calm and balanced state of mind and encourage you to take time out from the hustle and bustle of life.
